New Delhi, June 29: The Prajapati Community Service Foundation (PCSF) has demanded that all major political parties allocate election tickets to members of the Prajapati/Kumhar community in proportion to its estimated population of around 9 crore across India.

At a Soft Skill Development Training Program held in New Delhi, around 55 political aspirants from Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Delhi, and Goa received leadership and political mentoring from senior community leaders.

PCSF President Raajesh Prajapati said the community has remained politically underrepresented despite its large population and stressed the need for fair representation at village, district, state, and national levels.

The Foundation has written to the BJP, Congress, and Samajwadi Party seeking discussions on political representation, and has also held meetings with Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on the issue.

The Foundation also highlighted its Financial Assistance Program, under which 50 students from economically weaker Prajapati families across 10 states have received support for higher education.

Looking ahead, the community plans to field at least 20 candidates in the 2027 Assembly elections and prepare five candidates for the 2029 Lok Sabha elections.
