The party has overhauled its leadership in Punjab, Delhi, Haryana, and Tripura with immediate effect to boost its electoral preparedness and strengthen the organization at the grassroots level.

The key highlights and new appointments of this reshuffle are as follows:

1. Punjab: Trust Reposed in an Industrialist and Experienced Leader

In Punjab, the command of the party has been handed over to Sardar Kewal Singh Dhillon, a prominent industrialist and two-time former MLA. Dhillon’s extensive experience in both business and politics is expected to play a crucial role in strengthening the BJP’s cadre and connecting with the trading and industrial community in the state.

2. Delhi: Union Minister Replaces Virendra Sachdeva

The BJP has made a high-stakes move in the national capital. Union Minister and Delhi Member of Parliament (MP) Harsh Malhotra has been appointed as the new Delhi BJP State President, replacing Virendra Sachdeva. By bringing a Union Minister to the forefront of the state organization, the party has signaled its aggressive intent for the upcoming municipal and assembly elections.
