Mumbai, 7th September: A new door to future technology has opened for students in Dadar. An advanced Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics and Robotics laboratory, set up with the aim of providing hands-on and experimental learning of modern technology, was inaugurated today at the Chhabildas English Medium School (CBSE Affiliated) run by the General Education Institute, established in 1892 at Dadar West.

The lab was inaugurated by well-known dubbing artist, actor, director and producer Ajit Bhure. This initiative has created a new opportunity for students in the Dadar area to directly experience technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Internet of Things.

On this occasion, Institute President Shailendra Salvi welcomed the dignitaries and briefed them about the modern lab. Treasurer Ravindra Tamras, Director Aarti Raut, former student Vijay Padhye, Principal Mrs. Komal Kadve, along with many former and current students, directors, teachers and parents were present.
90 Live Projects Based on Raspberry Pi, Arduino and IoT
The demonstration and presentation of the lab was done by Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Consultant Dr. Amey Pangarkar. The lab is designed not just for students to understand technology, but to handle it themselves, conduct experiments, ask questions and create new projects from their own ideas.

The lab includes a total of 90 live projects based on Raspberry Pi, Arduino and Internet of Things technology. Students will be able to build and handle projects on various subjects like temperature, humidity, weather, security, motion, soil moisture, gas leakage, RFID, light control, parking, water level and more. Apart from this, training will be provided in Python programming, logical reasoning, drone integration, electronics and various concepts of Artificial Intelligence.
The classrooms in the school have also been equipped with modern educational facilities including attractive wall paintings, modern benches, digital boards, screens, sound system and various educational tools.

During the event, live demonstrations of robots, humanoid robots, drones and various mechanical devices were presented, which created great curiosity among students and parents. Students interacted with Dr. Pangarkar and asked many questions about AI and robotics.
“More important to teach thinking through technology”
Speaking on the occasion, President of General Education Institute, Shailendra Salvi said, “While preserving the tradition of education since 1892, our institute has adopted technology with time. Our aim is not just to teach technology to students, but to nurture students who question, experiment and create from their own ideas.”

Appreciating the initiative, Ajit Bhure said, “Instead of just gaining knowledge from textbooks, children should ask questions, experiment and create something on their own. The curiosity and enthusiasm seen on the faces of students in this lab is the real strength of this initiative.”
Principal Mrs. Komal Kadve said, “Our role is to encourage students to ask their own questions and create, rather than just searching for ready-made answers. This AI, Maths and Robotics lab will make learning more experiential and joyful for our students at Chhabildas.”
This is considered an important step taken by Chhabildas English Medium School towards empowering students for future opportunities through AI, robotics, innovation and experimental learning, with the core thought of “Dream Here, Succeed Everywhere” and awakening curiosity among students rather than making them habitual of getting instant answers.
